Covers for everything outdoors
made to measure

Bespoke covers for the garden, the patio and everything that stays outside - waterproof, ventilated and winter-proof. We sew every cover to the exact shape of your item: garden furniture, barbecue, hot tub, heat pump, potted plant or bike. Not a standard size that flaps and chafes, but custom made covers that fit - with tension straps, a drawcord and concealed vents.

A fit you can see

This is what sewn to measure looks like

Made to measure covers in anthracite: garden furniture and a barbecue neatly covered on a patio

Pulled taut, no creases, no flapping: that is what made to measure covers look like. We sew every one to the exact shape, hold it in place with tension straps and a drawcord in the hem, and ventilate it through concealed vents. Our covers follow the object, not a size chart, so they stay put in wind and rain.

Waterproof and ventilated by design

Fabric & properties

A good cover has to do two things at once: keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated, so that no condensation, mould or verdigris forms underneath. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from at least two concealed vents under flaps and fabric folds, plus a defined ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so moisture escapes without letting rain in. All seams are carefully sewn and, on request, additionally sealed with welded tape; the hem carries tension straps and a drawcord.

So the cover fits

How to measure correctly

The most common worry with a made to measure cover is that it will not fit in the end. Three measurements and a few simple steps are all it takes - and if in doubt, we check your measurements together before production.

Measure length, width and height

Measure at the widest and highest point - including armrests, roof, lid or connections.

Allow for an overhang

An overhang of a few centimetres lets rain drip off and keeps the cover from dragging on the ground.

Choose the fastening

The standard is tension straps with click buckles plus a drawcord in the hem - storm-proof around legs or corner points, instead of elastic that goes slack or single eyelets that tear out.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A made to measure cover is sewn individually to your dimensions instead of being picked from standard sizes. It therefore sits tightly, does not flap in the wind and protects the item completely. We make every cover as a one-off - with no minimum order, including special shapes.

What matters is the combination of waterproofing and ventilation. We sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - it really is waterproof. To stop condensation forming underneath, ventilation comes from the construction: at least two concealed vents and a defined ground clearance of at least 5 cm keep the air moving so moisture escapes. The fabric is also UV-stable, lightfast (grade 7-8), abrasion-resistant (60,000 Martindale cycles) and tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - suitable for year-round outdoor use.

Measure length, width and height at the widest and highest point - including armrests, roof, lid or connections. Allow a small overhang so rain drips off and the cover does not drag on the ground. On request we check your measurements together before production.

Yes. You order your made to measure cover online: you enter your dimensions or upload a sketch, choose the fabric and we sew the cover to fit. If anything is unclear, our service centre helps before production starts.

For garden furniture (porch swings, beach chairs, tables, chairs, benches, loungers and lounge sets), for barbecues and BBQs, for outdoor hot tubs, for equipment such as heat pumps, and for textile winter protection on potted plants and olive trees. We also sew bike covers to measure. For special cases we make raised bed covers or protective covers for lounge sets just as readily.

No. We make every cover as a one-off to your measurements. You order exactly one cover, matching exactly your item - garden furniture, barbecue, hot tub or plant.

Yes. For overwintering outdoors we make covers from heavy, tear-resistant fabrics that withstand frost, wind and snow load. The ventilated construction matters here too - concealed vents and ground clearance - so the item stays dry underneath and no verdigris or mould forms.

Most of our fabrics repel dirt and can simply be rinsed off with water or wiped down. Let the cover dry thoroughly before storing it to avoid mildew stains. That keeps the cover working season after season.
