What sets this cover apart

An off-the-shelf cube garden furniture cover is usually too big or too small. If it is too big, the fabric sags between the backrests, rain collects in the hollow and drags the cover down even further. Across several square metres, that is the biggest risk for any cover. Made to measure, the cover sits taut over the high points of your set, so water runs off instead of standing.

Rectangular or square

The cover follows the footprint of your arranged furniture - long and narrow or square, with sofa, armchairs, footstools and coffee table. Ideal as a cube patio set cover for the classic rattan cube set.

No pooling water

Because the cover sits taut to your measurements, there is no loose fabric between the backrests where rainwater can collect and stretch the material.

Secure in the wind

Tension straps with click buckles on the legs and corners, plus a drawcord in the hem, keep the large cover in place so it does not balloon or flap.

Ventilated by design

At least two concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm let moisture escape - so cushions and frame stay free of mildew stains.

Fabric & properties

A cover for a lounge set has to keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. The ventilation comes from concealed vents and the ground clearance. The seams are carefully sewn and, on request, additionally sealed with welding tape.

How to measure your lounge set

We do not sew to standard sizes but to your three measurements. Arrange the furniture exactly as it is to be covered and always measure from outer edge to outer edge. If in doubt, we check your measurements together before production.

Measure the length

Measure the longest side of the set at its widest point - including armrests, footstools and anything that sticks out at the side.

Measure the width

Measure across, from the outer edge of the backrest to the front edge of the seat, footstool or coffee table. If length and width are equal, the cover will be square.

Measure the height

Measure from the ground to the highest point, usually the top edge of the backrest. We allow for the ground clearance of at least 5 cm when cutting.

A lounge set cover is a single cover that protects an arranged group of sofa, armchairs, footstools and coffee table completely. It keeps rain, leaves, pollen and bird droppings off the frame and cushions, so the furniture is clean and dry when you take the cover off. Because we sew it to your measurements, it sits taut and does not form a pool of water.

Many frames are built for outdoor use, but cushions and surfaces suffer from constant rain, sun, dirt and standing water. A cover keeps these loads away. What matters is that it is ventilated: our covers have at least two concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so no moisture builds up underneath.

It should be truly waterproof and stay stable in the sun. We sew from Cover-PVC, a PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column, 60,000 Martindale cycles and UV finishing, tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. As the fabric is vapour-tight, the ventilation comes from the construction: concealed vents and ground clearance.

You do not pick a standard size - you give us the length, width and height of your arranged set, each measured from outer edge to outer edge and up to the highest backrest. Whether your set measures 250 x 250 cm, 300 x 300 cm or something quite different, we sew the cover rectangular or square exactly to fit. For special shapes, a sketch or a photo helps.

One cover for the whole set is quick to pull over and also covers the gaps between the pieces. It assumes that the furniture stands together when you cover it. On a large surface the fit decides: only a taut cover lets rain run off. If your furniture stands apart or you rearrange it often, individual covers for table, chairs or bench are the better choice.

Pools form when too much loose fabric sags between the high points. The water stretches the fabric, the hollow gets deeper and collects even more water - until seams give way. A made to measure cover sits taut over the backrests, so rain runs off. Pull the tension straps tight after fitting the cover and close the drawcord in the hem.

Whenever the furniture is clean and dry - after a shower, only once everything has dried off. Put the cover on when you will not use the lounge for a few days, and for the winter break. That way no moisture is trapped under the cover.

Yes. Cover-PVC is made for permanent outdoor use: waterproof, UV-stabilised and abrasion-resistant. The ventilation through vents and ground clearance keeps working in winter too. Make sure the furniture is dry before you cover it.

Clean our covers by hand: dirt washes off with lukewarm water, a sponge or a soft brush and a little mild detergent. Do not put the cover in the washing machine, do not iron it and do not tumble dry it - let it dry in the air afterwards.

The difference lies in fabric, construction and fit. A standard-size cover made of thin film is quick to make, but turns brittle in the sun and forms pools of water. A made to measure cover is cut and sewn individually for your set, with waterproof fabric, vents, ground clearance and fastening.
