An off-the-shelf garden swing cover flaps and chafes; a made to measure one has a zip for easy fitting and protects frame, cushions and canopy in any weather.
A precise fit, canopy included
With a canopy, side panels and frame a swing seat is bulky - an off-the-shelf cover never sits right on one. We sew your cover to your model, with a zip for easy fitting, so canopy, cushions and frame are protected all round.
What sets this cover apart
Swing seats are bulky and tall, with a canopy and protruding runners. An off-the-shelf 3 seater swing seat cover rarely fits - we sew every cover individually to your size, for exactly your model.
Canopy included
The cover encloses the canopy and the backrest too - nothing is left unprotected.
Zip for fitting
A zip along the side makes fitting over the tall frame easy and closes the cover securely.
Secure fastening
Tension straps with click buckles and a drawcord in the hem hold the cover close to the swing seat in any weather.
Fabric & properties
A good swing seat cover has to keep rain out and still be ventilated, so that no condensation forms underneath. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from at least two concealed vents and a defined ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so moisture escapes. That keeps the frame and cushions dry, UV-protected and winter-proof.
How to measure your swing seat
Three measurements are all it takes - and if in doubt, we check them together before production.
Measure width, depth and height
Measure at the widest and highest point - including canopy, runners and the protruding backrest.
Mind the canopy overhang
The canopy usually protrudes - measure the total width including the canopy, not just the seat.
Allow for an overhang
A small overhang carries rain away and stops the cover dragging on the ground.
