Kettle barbecue cover
sewn round to your measurements

Your kettle bbq cover made to measure - waterproof, UV-resistant and ventilated by design. We sew every kettle barbecue cover round to your appliance, with room for the lid handle, legs and side tables. Whether you need a round bbq cover for a classic kettle or a kamado bbq cover for a ceramic barbecue: a made to measure cover in Cover-PVC sits closer than a standard one and reliably keeps rust away.

Shaped for your kettle barbecue

What sets this cover apart

A kettle barbecue is round, and a ceramic barbecue is often wider still because of its side tables and stand. A square standard cover creases, collects water in the folds and flaps in the wind. We sew the cover in a round shape, matching the diameter, height and fittings of your barbecue.

A round cut

The cover follows the kettle or egg shape of your barbecue - without folds where rainwater can stand.

With side tables and stand

We allow for side tables, handles, thermometer and stand in the cut, so the cover sits cleanly right down to the hem.

A secure hold

A drawcord in the hem gathers the cover under the kettle or at the stand and keeps it in place in wind.

Let it cool, embers out

Only put the cover on once the barbecue has cooled down completely and is dry, with embers and ash fully out. A ceramic barbecue holds its heat for a particularly long time - wait accordingly. On gas kettles close the valve on the gas bottle first. The instructions in your barbecue's manual always take precedence.

Waterproof and ventilated by design

Fabric & properties

A good barbecue cover has to keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated, so that no condensation collects underneath and no rust forms on the grate, bowl or stand. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so residual moisture escapes. Cover-PVC is also UV-stable, so the cover does not fade in the sun.

So the cover fits

How to measure your kettle barbecue

Three details are all it takes - and if in doubt, we check your measurements together before production so the cover fits. For special shapes, simply upload a sketch or a photo.

Measure the diameter

Measure the diameter at the widest point of the kettle or ceramic body; with side tables, the total width from table to table.

Height to the lid handle

Measure from the ground to the top of the lid handle with the lid closed - or to the hem height you want.

Name the fittings

Tell us about the stand, wheels, ash catcher and thermometer, or give us your barbecue's model, and the cut will be right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What matters is the combination of waterproofing and ventilation. We sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - it really is waterproof and UV-stable. To stop condensation and rust forming underneath, ventilation comes from the construction: concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm let residual moisture escape.

Yes. We sew the cover to your measurements, so it fits ceramic barbecues and kamados just as well as classic kettles. Give us the diameter, the height and the total width including side tables, and we allow for the stand as well.

Only once the barbecue has cooled down completely and is dry, and the embers and ash are fully out. A ceramic barbecue holds its heat for a particularly long time. On gas kettles close the valve on the gas bottle first. That way no moisture is trapped underneath. The instructions in your barbecue's manual always take precedence.

Yes, because you give us the measurements of your barbecue instead of choosing a standard size. That way the cover fits any kettle barbecue, whatever the manufacturer and diameter.

Yes. Cover-PVC is winter-proof and withstands frost, wind and snow load. The round shape lets water and snow run off instead of collecting in folds. What matters is that the barbecue is dry before you cover it.

Directly from us: give us the measurements or upload a sketch, choose the fabric, and we sew the kamado cover or kettle cover to fit. If anything is unclear, our service centre helps before production starts.

Unsure about size or fabric?

Order a fabric sample or ask for advice - we check your measurements and find the right fabric for your made to measure kettle barbecue cover together.
