A fit you can see

A precise fit, right into the corner

Made to measure garden furniture cover in anthracite over a corner lounge on a wooden deck

A corner lounge has no standard size - which is exactly why we sew your cover to the shape of the furniture. It lies taut, nothing hangs loose or chafes, and tension straps with a drawcord hold it to the furniture in wind.

For every shape of furniture

Covers by type of furniture

Garden furniture rarely comes in standard sizes - a swing seat needs a different cover than a beach chair or a dining table with six chairs. We make every cover individually to your measurements, with no minimum order. Whether you need heavy duty garden furniture covers for overwintering or waterproof garden furniture covers for the current season, we sew each one to fit. Custom garden furniture covers for several pieces, for lounge groups and seating groups, including a matching garden furniture cover set, are made the same way. Outdoor furniture covers and patio furniture covers are the same product here - only the wording differs. Choose your type of furniture:

Waterproof and ventilated by design

Fabric & properties

A good cover has to do two things at once: keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated, so that no condensation, mould or verdigris forms underneath. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from at least two concealed vents under flaps and fabric folds, plus a defined ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so moisture escapes without letting rain in. All seams are carefully sewn and, on request, additionally sealed with welded tape; the hem carries tension straps and a drawcord.

Cover-PVC is UV-stabilised and lightfast (grade 7-8) - the cover keeps its colour and shape even after years in the sun.

So the cover fits

How to measure correctly

The most common worry with a made to measure cover is that it will not fit in the end. Three measurements and a few simple steps are all it takes - and if in doubt, we check your measurements together before production.

Measure length, width and height

Measure at the widest and highest point of the furniture - including armrests, canopy or backrest.

Allow for an overhang

An overhang of a few centimetres lets rain drip off and keeps the cover from dragging on the ground.

Choose the fastening

The standard is tension straps with click buckles plus a drawcord in the hem - storm-proof around legs or corner points, instead of elastic that goes slack or single eyelets that tear out.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What matters is the combination of waterproofing and a ventilated construction. We sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - it really is waterproof. To stop condensation and mould forming underneath, ventilation comes from the construction: at least two concealed vents and a defined ground clearance of at least 5 cm keep the air moving. The fabric is also UV-stable, lightfast (grade 7-8), abrasion-resistant (60,000 Martindale cycles) and tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - suitable for overwintering outdoors all year.

Measure length, width and height at the widest and highest point - including armrests, canopy or backrest. Allow a small overhang so rain drips off and the cover does not drag on the ground. On request we check your measurements together before production, so the fit is right.

A clean fit, carefully sewn seams and a well thought-out fastening. A standard cover that is too large flaps in the wind and chafes, one that is too small will not go over the furniture. A made to measure cover with tension straps, click buckles and a drawcord in the hem stays in place in wind and reliably protects against rain, leaves, bird droppings and UV light.

Yes. For overwintering outdoors we make covers from heavy, abrasion-resistant Cover-PVC that withstands frost, wind and snow load. The ventilated construction matters here too - concealed vents and ground clearance - so the furniture stays dry underneath and no verdigris forms.

No. We make every cover as a one-off to your measurements - including special shapes such as adjustable loungers, corner benches or seating groups. You order exactly one cover, matching exactly your furniture.

Most of our fabrics repel dirt and can simply be rinsed off with water or wiped down. Let the cover dry thoroughly before storing it to avoid mildew stains. That keeps the cover working season after season.

The advantages are above all the exact fit and the longer life. A standard size flaps, chafes or lets rain in. A made to measure cover sits close, protects reliably and therefore lasts longer - which pays off against cheap mass-market goods that often have to be replaced after a single season.

For made to measure covers we use Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column. It is waterproof, UV-stable, lightfast (grade 7-8) and abrasion-resistant (60,000 Martindale cycles) - robust enough for overwintering as well as for the current season. The ventilation does not come from the fabric but from the construction, with vents and ground clearance.

A genuinely waterproof, abrasion-resistant fabric with a ventilated construction. We sew from Cover-PVC (4,000 mm water column, vapour-tight) and use concealed vents and ground clearance so moisture escapes - that protects more reliably all year than a loose standard tarpaulin.

You will not find an anonymous machine here but a personal made to measure process: you give us your measurements or upload a sketch, and we check everything before production. If anything is unclear, our service centre helps directly.

Measure accurately first, allow a small overhang and choose a fastening that holds in wind. The cover should enclose the furniture completely without dragging on the ground - that way your furniture is covered safely.

Our service centre. Send us your measurements or a photo sketch - we go through the dimensions with you before production, so the cover fits.

By late autumn at the latest, before prolonged rain and frost set in. If the furniture stays outdoors all year, cover it during the season too, against rain, pollen and bird droppings - then a ventilated all-year cover is worth it.
