Smoker cover
sewn to your measurements
Your bbq smoker cover made to measure - waterproof, UV-resistant and ventilated by design. We sew every smoker cover to your appliance, whether it is a barrel smoker, an offset smoker with a side firebox or a vertical smoker cabinet. A made to measure smoker bbq cover in Cover-PVC sits closer than a standard one, covers the chimney and firebox as well and reliably keeps rust off the steel.
What sets this cover apart
A smoker rarely has a standard size: the firebox sits lower at the side than the cooking chamber, the chimney sticks up, and wheels and shelves stand out. An off-the-shelf cover pulls tight in one place and flaps in another. We sew every cover individually to your measurements.
Cut to your smoker's shape
We measure the cooking chamber, firebox and chimney separately, so the cover follows the step between firebox and chamber and sits cleanly everywhere.
For large smokers too
Also available as an offset smoker cover for long offset smokers and smoker trolleys - you set the length, not a standard size.
Secure fastening
Tension straps with click buckles plus a drawcord in the hem hold the cover in place in wind - storm-proof instead of elastic that goes slack.
Let it cool, embers out
Only put the cover on once the smoker has cooled down completely and is dry, with embers and ash fully out. On gas smokers close the valve on the gas bottle first, on pellet smokers disconnect the power. The instructions in your smoker's manual always take precedence.
Fabric & properties
A steel smoker rusts mainly where moisture is left standing. A good cover therefore has to keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated, so that no condensation collects underneath. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so residual moisture escapes. Cover-PVC is also UV-stable, so the cover does not fade in the sun.
How to measure your smoker
A smoker needs a few more measurements than a gas barbecue - if in doubt, we check them together before production so the finished cover fits. For special shapes, simply upload a sketch or a photo.
Measure the overall size
Measure the total length from the firebox to the opposite shelf, the greatest depth and the height up to the top of the chimney.
Give the firebox separately
Tell us the width, depth and height of the firebox and how far below the cooking chamber it sits - so the cut follows the step.
Chimney and overhang
Give us the diameter and position of the chimney and allow a few centimetres of overhang, so rain drips off and the cover does not drag on the ground.
Matching covers
Beyond the smoker we sew made to measure covers for the whole barbecue area and garden.
