The four designs of Agora Simmetria
Agora Simmetria is an outdoor fabric made of 100 % solution-dyed acrylic whose pattern is created during weaving. It comes in four designs, each in the same seven colours. In this collection it is used for the cover of the folding outdoor mattress, which gives 28 items. Each card shows one design in a sample colour; you will find the other six colours in the product list.
Agora Simmetria - a woven pattern in acrylic
Anyone searching for a “jacquard outdoor fabric” usually means exactly this: a pattern that is not printed on, but woven in through the different interlacing of the threads. With Agora Simmetria, the solution-dyed acrylic fibre is added, dyed right through to the core of the fibre. The fabric is 160 cm wide, and the seven colours are called Pirita, Coral, Celeste, Perla, Mineral, Taupe and Grafito. All values are on the fabric page Agora Simmetria.
Woven-in pattern
The geometric pattern is created directly in the weaving process through the different interlacing of the threads. It is not a print that could peel off or fade. Pattern and colour are firmly anchored in the fabric.
Lightfastness 7/8 to ISO 105-B02
Very good colour resistance to sunlight, measured to UNE EN ISO 105-B02, on the same level as Agora Liso. The solution-dyed fibre protects not only the colour but also the woven-in pattern. What the grades mean is explained under What is lightfastness.
Water-repellent with stain protection
Water beads off the surface, and stains do not soak into the fibre straight away. With a patterned fabric this matters all the more, because discolouration shows up more on textured surfaces than on plain fabrics.
5-year guarantee on colourfastness
The manufacturer guarantees for 5 years that the fabric will not fade and the fibres will not age abnormally, under normal conditions of use and care. In addition, the fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, meaning it is tested for harmful substances.
Heavy with a full handle
At 405 to 420 g/m², Simmetria is considerably heavier than Agora Liso at 260 g/m² and also heavier than Life Wabi from Agora Life at 360 g/m². This comes from the jacquard weaving technique, which uses more yarn per area. The fabric feels fuller in the hand.

Folding with a removable cover
The mattress folds up and can be stored in little space. The cover in Agora Simmetria is removable.
You choose size and thickness
You set length, width and thickness on the item page, with a thickness from 4 to 20 cm. How to measure correctly is shown in the measuring guide for furniture cushions. Small deviations are normal with textiles, details under Tolerances for made-to-measure items.
