Our balcony covers serve as perfect privacy and wind protection. All products are manufactured in Germany at our production facility in Westoverledingen - and everything is made to measure!

Balcony Cover for Perfect Privacy Protection
To ensure the best privacy protection, we use opaque acrylic materials in our production. Our balcony covers not only provide privacy and wind protection but also protect against the sun and its UV radiation - the materials all have one of the best UV protection factors (UPF 50+).
The Material Used for Our Balcony Covers
We have many different materials and colors to choose from in our range. The balcony privacy screen is cut and processed from the outdoor fabric Dralon. It is a lightweight, wool-like material and very easy to maintain. The acrylic material also protects against harmful UV rays, as it has a UV protection factor of UPF 50+.

Care Instructions for Balcony Covers
Our fabrics are very easy to clean. You can either brush off dust and light dirt or wipe it with a damp cloth. The privacy screen can also be cleaned in the washing machine:
- maximum 30°
- gentle wash cycle
- no or only brief spin cycle
- do not tumble dry or bleach
- if necessary, iron at the lowest temperature setting
How do I measure my balcony railing correctly?
As a general rule, the balcony cover should be slightly smaller to avoid any wrinkle formation during installation.
We therefore recommend deducting 2 cm to 3 cm from the measured railing width for the fabric width. Here, the longer the balcony cover, the greater the stretch tolerance. This allows the balcony covering to be stretched very well. From the measured railing height, we recommend deducting 1 cm.
Nothing more will be deducted from the height and width entered in our configurator during production for the final product.
Which balcony cover for multi-sided balconies?
If your balcony consists of multiple sides, you can of course order a balcony enclosure for all 3 balcony sides from us. You can decide whether you want the balcony cover to be made of multiple sections or one single section.

For measurements, please proceed exactly as described in the text above: Take a small deduction from the width and height and simply order. Each privacy screen is then ordered individually, so you will have 3 products in your shopping cart.

When measuring for a complete balcony covering, you need to consider that the corners require more fabric, so it's not enough to simply add up the measurements of all balcony sides.
Therefore, for a continuous balcony cover, we recommend measuring the width of the railing using a measuring tape or string - this way you determine the actual length needed for the balcony covering.
For the height, proceed as described above - deduct 1 cm from the measurement.
Processing and Manufacturing of Balcony Covers
After your order is placed, it will be forwarded to production so that cutting and sewing of your balcony cover can begin. If you need a different number of eyelets or if the hem needs to have a different width, for example, please leave us a note in the remarks field or send us an email.
The hem that goes around the complete privacy screen is 3.5 cm wide and 3-layered. Stainless steel eyelets are inserted into this hem at intervals of approximately 20 cm (evenly spaced). The eyelets have an internal diameter of 11 mm.
Mounting Options for the Balcony Cover
The balcony privacy screen can be attached to the balcony railing either using cable ties or with a cord strap.
Cable Ties
As mounting material, we offer cable ties among other options. These are made of polyamide and have dimensions of 4.8 x 300 mm and can encompass a maximum diameter of 76 mm. We offer the following colors: white, red, blue, yellow, green, and black.
Cord Strap
Additionally, you can order our cord strap for mounting. The cord is made of polypropylene and is 5 mm thick. We have this strap available in beige, dark blue, yellow, natural, orange, black, wine red, and white. If you decide to mount using the cord strap, we will include sufficient strap with your order. You can then cut this to length as needed.
Scope of Delivery
If you place an online order for a custom-made privacy screen with mounting materials, the product includes the privacy screen itself processed with eyelets and additionally includes either the cable ties or the cord strap. Our current delivery time is approximately 15 to 20 business days.
Dralon - Premium Outdoor Fabric
Thanks to its excellent properties, Dralon fabrics are used in many areas (indoors and outdoors, sportswear and workwear, fashion industry, baby and children's clothes, etc.).
Indoors, the fabric is used for blankets, furniture, upholstery and curtains, as well as carpets and table linen.
Outdoors, Dralon fabrics particularly show off their advantages. Brilliant colors, easy care, UV resistance and a pleasant feel comparable to cotton fabric. At the same time, Dralon fabric is very durable and long-lasting. Dralon® is well equipped against mold and bacterial attack.
The fabric exhibits the following properties:

Despite the Teflon coating (stain protection), the Dralon fabric is breathable - in the upholstery area, this prevents sweating and in the sun protection area, it prevents the formation of condensation and therefore mold.
