A fit you can see

Shaped for your gas barbecue

Side burners, shelves, hoses: a gas barbecue has many corners where standard covers fail. We sew your cover to your model, with cut-outs where they belong, a taut fit and a ventilated construction against condensation underneath.

What sets this cover apart

A gas barbecue with a lid, side burner and cabinet rarely has a standard size. An off-the-shelf cover for gas bbq units flaps, chafes or lets rain in. We sew every cover individually to your measurements.

A fit with cut-outs

We allow for side burners, handles, hoses and shelves so the cover sits cleanly everywhere.

Carefully sewn seams

All seams are carefully sewn and, on request, additionally sealed with welded tape - so the barbecue stays dry even in prolonged rain.

Secure fastening

Tension straps with click buckles plus a drawcord in the hem hold the cover in place in wind - storm-proof instead of elastic that goes slack.

Waterproof and ventilated by design

Fabric & properties

A good barbecue cover has to keep rain out reliably and still be ventilated, so that no moisture builds up underneath and no rust forms. We do not solve this with a "breathable" fabric but through the construction: we sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - so it really is waterproof. Ventilation comes from concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm, so residual moisture escapes. Cover-PVC is also UV-stable, so the cover does not fade in the sun.

So the cover fits

How to measure your gas barbecue

Three measurements are all it takes - and if in doubt, we check them together before production so the finished cover for gas bbq units fits.

Measure width, depth and height

Measure at the widest and highest point - including side shelves, handles and the lid closed.

Allow for an overhang

An overhang of a few centimetres lets rain drip off and keeps the cover from dragging on the ground.

Tell us the number of burners

Two, three or four burners - give us the model and the cut-outs and the cut will be right.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What matters is the combination of waterproofing and ventilation. We sew from Cover-PVC, a vapour-tight, PVC-coated polyester fabric with a 4,000 mm water column - it really is waterproof and UV-stable. To stop condensation and rust forming underneath, ventilation comes from the construction: concealed vents and a ground clearance of at least 5 cm let residual moisture escape.

The fit decides: measure width, depth and height including side shelves, and tell us the number of burners. That way the cover sits close and protects completely. Beyond that, look for waterproofing, a ventilated construction, UV resistance and a fastening that holds in wind.

A cover protects the barbecue from rain, rust, moisture, UV light, leaves and bird droppings, and extends its life. A made to measure cover sits closer than a standard one, does not flap and therefore protects more reliably all season.

Cover the barbecue once it has cooled down and is not in use - especially in rain, frost and over winter. One thing matters: only cover it when it is completely cold and dry, so no moisture is trapped underneath.

The price follows the fabric, the workmanship and the fit. Heavy, UV-resistant and abrasion-resistant Cover-PVC with carefully sewn seams and a ventilated construction lasts far longer than a thin standard tarpaulin. Made to measure costs more than off-the-shelf, but it protects better and does not need replacing every season.

You get a made to measure gas barbecue cover directly from us: give us the measurements and the model or upload a sketch, choose the fabric, and we sew the cover to fit. If anything is unclear, our service centre helps before production starts.
