Agora Life fabric - the three weaves compared
All three weaves share the same fibre and the same finish; they differ in look and weight. Solution-dyed means the colour is already in the liquid mass from which the fibre is spun, not just on the surface. More on this under What is solution-dyed. Recycled acrylic - what it means for Agora Life
Behind the name there is a specific share, not just a label. What makes up this recycled outdoor fabric in detail is on the fabric page Agora Life.
22 % from the manufacturer's own production
The manufacturer turns its production leftovers and second-quality fabrics into new fibre and spins it into yarn together with new fibre. The recycled share is therefore solution-dyed acrylic again, not collected plastic waste.
Water and dirt repellent, PFAS-free
The finish lets rain bead off and makes it harder for dirt to stick, and it does without PFAS. That does not make the fabric waterproof: after persistent rain it needs time to dry. How to clean the cover is explained under Fabric care.
OEKO-TEX and lightfastness
The fabrics are tested for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. For lightfastness according to ISO 105-B02 they reach 7 out of 8 levels, so the colour holds even after years in the sun. What the label tests is explained under What is OEKO-TEX.
Colour can vary slightly from batch to batch
This is a result of the recycled content. If you want to place several mattresses side by side, it is best to order them together. You can see the shade in advance on the fabric sample.
