Cable tension awnings are more flexible than any other type of shading - you can individually shade each area on the patio or conservatory, or leave it exposed to the sun. Each section can be pulled out or retracted independently.

Our Cable Tension Awnings Are Also Suitable for Open Pergolas!
Please note - our cable tension awnings are not a replacement for the roof! If they are to be used with open pergolas, we recommend installing a shield where the retracted awnings are protected from the wind and precipitation, as the shading panels can withstand wind speeds of up to 30 km/h (approx. 18.6 mph). This ensures a longer lifespan for the cable tension awnings.

Optimal Awning Protection for an Open Pergola
The awning protection does not have to be overly large, but it also should not be too small.
Ideally, our shading panels should be protected from above and on the sides.

Fabric.
The fabric panels are made from very high-quality Dralon outdoor fabric (100% acrylic with Teflon coating). The fabric is ideal for use as a shading device:
- UV-resistant (lightfastness factor of 5 - 7 depending on color)
- Stain protection - thanks to Teflon coating, dirt- and water-repellent
- Breathable
- Resistant to mold
- Durable
- Light (approx. 190g per 1 m² or approximately 0.62 oz per 10.76 ft²)
Cable.
Steel cables have an annoying feature - they become rough over time and require regular maintenance.
Not without reason, vendors often sell lubricants as well (e.g., spray grease, silicone spray, etc.).
And if just a single wire breaks and stands crosswise - you can no longer extend or retract your cable tension awning; a new cable is needed.
Therefore, we have included polyester rope in our range. The rope is ideally suited for the cable tension awning:
- It is very sturdy - with a diameter of 2.2 mm, the tensile load is 1800 N (almost 184 kg or approx. 406 lbs)
- It is flame retardant.
- It is durable and requires absolutely no maintenance.
No need for lubricants or similar throughout its entire lifecycle. Your cable tension awning will slide smoothly and reliably for years to come.

Mounting Set.
Our custom cable tension awnings are also ideally suited for roofs with a steep slope. The shading panels glide smoothly and reliably.
No additional accessories are needed to secure the individual panels. Simply pull the cable tension awning to the desired position, and it will stay fixed in place. It couldn't be easier.
Dralon - Premium Outdoor Fabric
Thanks to its excellent properties, Dralon fabrics are used in many areas (indoors and outdoors, sportswear and workwear, fashion industry, baby and children's clothes, etc.).
Indoors, the fabric is used for blankets, furniture, upholstery and curtains, as well as carpets and table linen.
Outdoors, Dralon fabrics particularly show off their advantages. Brilliant colors, easy care, UV resistance and a pleasant feel comparable to cotton fabric. At the same time, Dralon fabric is very durable and long-lasting. Dralon® is well equipped against mold and bacterial attack.
