Bench Back Cushion in Light Grey Solid
GERMES bench back cushions with box-edge seams are custom-made in Germany. The cover is made from an outdoor fabric called Dralon in light grey color No. 20 solid. The fabric is water and dirt repellent (Dralon has a Teflon or carbon coating).
The back cushion can be attached to the bench backrest with optional tie straps.
The back cushion covers are removable via a zipper and can be machine washed at 30°C (86°F).
With our measuring instructions, you can quickly and easily determine the correct dimensions for the proper configuration of the desired product.
Here’s how the back cushion covers are processed:
- Zipper for removing the foam insert (for cleaning, etc.)
- Box-edge seam as wide as the thickness of the cushion
- Tie straps at the upper corners, if desired
Soft Filling for Bench Back Cushion:
The back cushions are equipped with a soft foam stuffing, wrapped in thermal fleece, making our garden bench back cushion pad soft, warm, and very comfortable.
Regardless of the type of garden bench you own - whether it's wooden, iron, or concrete - thanks to thermal fleece, you can still enjoy time in the garden during cooler days.

Dralon - Premium Outdoor Fabric
Thanks to its excellent properties, Dralon fabrics are used in many areas (indoors and outdoors, sportswear and workwear, fashion industry, baby and children's clothes, etc.).
Indoors, the fabric is used for blankets, furniture, upholstery and curtains, as well as carpets and table linen.
Outdoors, Dralon fabrics particularly show off their advantages. Brilliant colors, easy care, UV resistance and a pleasant feel comparable to cotton fabric. At the same time, Dralon fabric is very durable and long-lasting. Dralon® is well equipped against mold and bacterial attack.

Despite the Teflon coating (stain protection), the Dralon fabric is breathable - in the upholstery area, this prevents sweating and in the sun protection area, it prevents the formation of condensation and therefore mold.

Care Instructions
Care for removable covers:
- Remove the inner part and close the zipper
- Wash the cover at 40°C in the gentle cycle, without fabric softener in the washing machine
- Do not bleach, please use commercial detergent
- Soak heavily soiled items briefly
- Put the covers back on immediately after washing while they are still damp - this way the pad retains its shape
- Use dryer only at low temperature
- Fabric can be ironed at 150°C
Care for quilted cushions:
- Wash the pad at 30°C in the gentle cycle, without fabric softener in the washing machine
- Do not bleach, only use commercial detergent
- Soak heavily soiled items briefly
- Do not use a dryer
